He started his professional career in nursing, specifically in pediatric units. After a few years, he moved to medical emergency areas, and with a position with much more responsibilities, he developed his role there for a couple of years.
In 2020, he started his professional work in preoperative surgery and found his passion for injectables there. For the past two years, he has been part of the professional medical team at Ideal Plastic Surgery, the number one plastic surgery center in Northern California.
Joel is known for working for ideal results, listening to patient’s needs, and his warm, friendly, and professional manner.

Dr. Bascone is a doctor who specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and is noted for his discipline. He is passionate about facial treatments such as botox and fillers.
Dr. Bascone earned his medical degree from the American University of Antigua, West Indies (2016). His multiple fellowships and awards highlight him as a committed professional with a constant desire for constant learning.
When Dr. Bascone is not at Ideal Plastic Surgery, you will likely find him at the gym, swimming, cooking, or spending time with his dog Rocky.
